Sony Starts Rolling Out Android 4.0 to Xperia P Users

Sony recently sent the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update to Xperia S users and now they have began rolling out the update for Xperia P users. Besides all the cool features of Ice Cream Sandwich, Sony has updated its Android application suite, with the Music (now called Walkman), Movies, and Gallery apps receiving visual and functional updates.

The Xperia P will also get some additions like an improved lockscreen and an extended standby mode. The update started rolling out yesterday and in the next few weeks it will be available in markets globally. All Xperia P users will be notified when the update is available, and it will be as an over the air update but Sony says some devices may need to tether to a PC or Mac to update through the companion software
