"In typical Apple fashion," Schiller said, "we're going to take our best product and make it so much better."The newest MacBook Pro has a 13.3-inch, 2560 x 1600 display. Schiller was eager to explain that more Mac apps are being updated to include Retina support every day.At three quarters of an inch, the Retina MacBook Pro is 20% thinner as well. Depending on configurations, it weighs about 3.75 lbs.
The "re-engineered from scratch" MacBook Pro dispenses with the integrated optical drive that distinguished it from the MacBook air. But it now packs a 7-hour battery, two USB 3 ports, two Thunderbolt ports, an SDcard port, and HDMI out.
