Samsung will not be releasing any new Bada-powered phones, with the last set announced at IFA 2011.Samsung has for a long time planned to replace its own smartphone platform "Bada" with Tizen OS, Tizen was known as "MeeGo" before being ditched by Nokia that preferred Windows Phone OS.Tizen phones have also been pushed back to 2013, it appears due to poor support by Tizen Association, headed by Intel and Samsung itself, with missing developer tools and software upgrades.Instead of Releasing the First Tizen smarthphone in 2012, Samsung will be focusing on the development of Android devices, as well as on smartphones running Microsoft's upcoming Windows Phone 8.
