Huawei to launch a 6.1 inch Ascend Mate

Huawei's Chairman of devices, Richard Yu, popped into a Huawei store in Guangzhou, China recently and flaunted the Ascend Mate, a 6.1-inch smartphone with a 1080p resolution display, according to a report by Engadget. The handset is expected to make its official debut at the Consumer Electronics Show 2013.
The Ascend Mate will feature  a 1.8 gigahertz quad-core chip, a large 4,000 mAh battery, 9.9 millimeters in thickness, and a cost of $480.
