Motrola today announced the Droid RAZR HD which has a 4.7 inch display with 78% more pixels than the RAZR. The Droid RAZR HD has 85 percent more color saturation than the iPhone 4S and is powered by a dual core processor. The RAZR HD also comes with Google Chrome as its main browser and Motorola claims it’s 40% faster than Safari on the iPhone 4S. The best thing about the RAZR HD is that it comes with a 2,500mAh battery which gets you 16 hours of talk time.
Motorola also announced the Droid RAZR MAXX HD which is basically a version of the RAZR HD, but with better battery life and 32GB of storage. The RAZR MAXX HD’s battery can give you 10 hours of video over LTE, or talk continuously for 21 hours.
The third phone Motorola announced is the Droid RAZR M which was made for people who want smaller sized phones. The RAZR M has a 4.3-inch display with almost no borders and it comes with the same dual-core processor as the RAZR HD. It has an 8-megapixel camera with HDR, NFC, Kevlar, 8GB storage, 1GB RAM, 1080p video. As for the battery of the RAZR M, it has a 2,000mAH battery. All three devices will be running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
All three of the 4G LTE phones will start with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and upgrade to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean by the year's end. They also feature an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD recording and playback, and a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor.
The Droid RAZR HD & Droid RAZR MAXX HD will be available in stores before the holidays. As for the RAZR M, it is available for preorder and will be in stores next week for $99, on contract.
