The GT-P8110 tablet will come with inbuilt 16GB memory along with the standard tablet features tablets today come with including rear and front cameras, WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC. The design of the tablet is also very intriguing. Unlike all the other galaxy tablets released by Samsung, the GT-P8110’s design is completely different with more rounded corners. Other Galaxy tablets have sharper corners that give them more rectangular shape. The document filed on FCC last Tuesday does not reveal much about the new tablet but from the initial specs, this may be one of those high end tablets that will rival the likes of Asus Transformer Prime. When it comes to software, the tab will come with Android Ice Cream Sandwich and not Jelly Bean as most would have anticipated, but i am not certain about this though .It would be a pleasant surprise if it comes with Jelly Bean and the latest version of Samsung’s Touchwiz UI.
With Samsung’s announcement of their new Exynos 5 Dual processor for smartphones and tablets yesterday, that also states support for 2560×1600 and higher resolutions, this is all starting to make sense
Samsung has a lot of announcements this month starting with the Galaxy Note 10.1 August 15th, followed by the Galaxy Note 2 at the end of the month at IFA in Berlin, Germany
